to Mozambique Research and Education Network
The
Mozambique Research and Education Network – MoRENet,
is the planned nationwide data network that will
interconnect Academic and Research institutions, developing
activities with non-profit purposes. The network, which is
intended to be a framework for fast and efficient exchange
of research data among its members, has as main philosophy
to take advantage and make use of the already deployed fiber
infrastructure in the country. The long term goal of
MoRENet is to instigate the growth of the infrastructure
and stimulate research projects in the country.
